CREATING LIVABLE SPACES
A blog about modern design, what we like about it, our inspiration, and our day-to-day job.
Sunset Color House
Designed for a young San Francisco family on a fast timeline, this Sunset District home balances bold color, modern warmth, and thoughtful functionality. Rich blues, mustard tones, sculptural lighting, and layered textures create a vibrant yet cohesive environment that feels expressive, relaxed, and deeply personal.
By combining curated furnishings, custom details, and strategic architectural interventions, the project transformed a simple residence into a dynamic contemporary home filled with light, character, and creative energy.
Salone del Mobile 2026 revealed a continued shift toward warmer, more tactile interiors rooted in craftsmanship, texture, and emotional connection. From sculptural furnishings and layered lighting to natural materials and architectural restraint, Milan this year felt less focused on trends and more centered on creating spaces that feel timeless, personal, and deeply livable.
