CREATING LIVABLE SPACES
A blog about modern design, what we like about it, our inspiration, and our day-to-day job.
Madrid Through a Designer’s Eye
Madrid is a city that reveals itself slowly through elegant architecture, layered interiors, long dinners, hidden courtyards, and neighborhoods that still feel deeply lived in. After fourteen years living there, many of the spaces, materials, and atmospheres that continue to inspire my work are rooted in the city. This guide is a curated collection of some of my favorite hotels, restaurants, museums, shops, and creative addresses in Madrid.
Salone del Mobile 2026 revealed a continued shift toward warmer, more tactile interiors rooted in craftsmanship, texture, and emotional connection. From sculptural furnishings and layered lighting to natural materials and architectural restraint, Milan this year felt less focused on trends and more centered on creating spaces that feel timeless, personal, and deeply livable.
